Heaven’s Fall

The rise of the damned

Before vague visions of judgmental eyes
My vexed prerogative slowly grow
These walls, once silent, forgave their goodbyes
To the dismal halo I forever bestow

Along the stitches of imminent worlds apart
The crescent grounds commanded delight
For the beaten, demolished, forbidden damned heart
Will soon wreak pride a pray’r alight

Sobriety left beyond certain eternity
My sword, my guard hushed roars of tranquil
The empty battle proposed obvious ambiguity
But the struggle of the phantom never failed futile

Shame and disgrace stained the face of the wounded
The bleeding dice again can never be wicked
